Oliver Postgate; 1925 - 2008

I bid a fond farewell to one of the pioneers in the animation industry. Like so many animators in the early days, he improvised equipment, worked from an out house and no doubt spent many hours working on his beloved animation.
Thank you Mr Postgate for all those amazing animations; the Clangers and Noggin the Nog, Ivor the Engine and Pogles Wood, but to mention a few.
Memories flood back to when, as a younger me, I would sit in front of the TV wrapped in a quilt and watching Pogles Wood, minus the bilberry wine.
So thank you and fare well, I hope to meet you one day in that big studio in the sky.
