this is what I find myself part of, and we all seem to be staying in the same guest house - you can imagine what that might be like, and what the conversations are!

And the first screening went very well. Being at 1.00 on a friday I thought there would be no-one at all, but a darn healthy audience who lapped up the films I screened. Each film pushed osme boundary or technique of stop motion, and i think I managed to be farely lucid and informative. It was all a bit of a rush but i just talked quickly to get it all in. The Filmhouse is a great venue, with a fantastic though badly dispalyed DVD collection, and a marvellous selection of cakes. I was quite happy spending time there. Also the projection on DVD was spot on and perfect. thanks. We'll see what the audience is like for my films tomorrow. There's a defintie buzz in Ediburgh and an appreciation of such things. Unlike some places I have just been......mentioning not that location just outside manchester.
