THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON

As usual I'm way behind with such movies, and decided to catch up tonight. But oh crikey, being of a somewhat fragile state of mind at the moment, this was jsut the wrong film to watch. The tears flowed like a flood, but of course I enjoyed it. A beautifully structured story and such impressive invisible effects. I'd like to see a bit more aobut the cG/make up effects. Even whilst they took my breath away, they didn't get in the way of the story telling. I was reminded of one of my favourite films, The Incredible Shrinking Man - they shared the inevitable melancholia. I guess this was a science fiction without the science, just a rather interesting concept. Very moving.
