A Little Slice Of Hell

Postby Will Mundell » Tue Feb 12, 2013 5:25 pm

Hi, I am currently in the process of making a stop motion short film and would be hard pressed to find a better place to spread the word! I was lucky enough to work with some of the best in the stop motion industry after leaving uni (Mr Purves aside!) so developed a short film to put my skills to the test. I love creating puppets and the whole tactile process of stop motion despite having to train myself in the big bad world of CGI. I hope people enjoy what they see, and any feedback is welcome! (please note that all the animation thus far are test shots only, all shot in my ill equipped bedroom hence the bad lighting and flicker, they are more tests of the armature than anything else)

hi Will, and I just looked on youtube, and that's great stuff. I love the choreography of the pizza boy, and the detail of his knee supporting the box is brilliant. It's well timed and clear and not rushed. For your next test, try varying the speed of some of the actions as well. this is very impressive.
all the best
