To Seek Permission

Dear Barry & all,

I wonder if someone would be able to advise me. I am currently developing a short animation film idea. Ofcourse I have been doing my research to help inspire me, i.e. I've Read lots of articles, surfed the net & watched a lot of documentaries/films. However, on my journey I came across a 1976 film called Network. Screen Written by Paddy Chayefsky, Directed by Sidney Lumet.
There is a piece of dialogue in this film that I would love to animate to. I understand that I need to seek permission first.
Where do I start? & whom is it I need to ask?
If anyone on this forum can advise me I'd be ever so grateful.
Just to clarify, it will not be used within my film to attain any financial gain in any way I can assure the person or persons of this. Like most film makers I have a vision that I want to see happen on the screen, to share with others & to attain a sense of personal achievement!

P.S. Barry I do enjoy reading your diary, keep up the good work!

Happy Animating All
